The SDP, HDZ, HSS-HSLS forget a lot and thus resort to professional manipulation and selling snake oil.

Professional manipulation is a term I deem the most appropriate for so-called programmes of the SDP, HNS, HSS-HSLS and HDZ. They try to pass off works written on three or four cards of text as economical, developmental, social, educational or some other programmes. Since these and such works are at the level of a poor seminar paper by a first-year student, then it is necessary to resort to tried-out methods of deceiving voters – by professional manipulation - hoping that the people’s memories do not go back far.

They compete about the rates of economic growth, as at an auction: “I offer six percent, I offer seven percent, no, we offer eight percent” and so on. But the interesting thing is that nobody has offered measures and instruments to achieve such GDP growth. So that selling snake oil and deception could have an effect, they put on earphones, sunglasses or photosensitive glasses, with plastic and other aesthetic surgeries and hire people to drag that through the media.

Party forgetfulness

Of course, they are again offering new jobs, higher pensions and whatever suits the people or what they want to hear. They forget that they were the ones that indebted Croatia for more than 50 billion US dollars, enabled robbery and looting in the story dubbed as privatisation, caused a high rate of unemployment, sold off family silver, Croatian banks…

They forget that they gave the state reserves of 10 billion euros to foreign banks for safekeeping and they place our money through loans to citizens and companies, earning high amounts through interest rates. They forget a lot wilfully and thus resort to professional manipulation and selling snake oil. Their duels as well as the media that allow them these manipulations are especially interesting.
